What's new this week?

Our genius child is really enjoying her jungle play-time. She's always reaching for the parrot in her jungle-gym, and screeching with the parrot who's visiting us. Her doctor visit this week went really well. She's now 13 1/2 lbs. and 25" long! She's happy more often than not and loves our attention.

We're planning next year's vegetable garden. It's going to be massive, but organized. This year's experimental garden has been fun - and taught us some things. We're pulling out zucchini like professional squash farmers.

Hannah likes to watch Mr. Rogers with Daddy. Yes, Daddy Tivos Mr. Rogers. (Shhh it's a secret.) We don't plop her down in front of the TV or anything, but she can't resist to see whatever mommy and daddy are watching.

Today we unpacked Hannah's highchair. She loved it right from the start. She likes to be at our level and see what's going on. The exciting news is that the pediatrician gave us the go ahead to start giving Hannah solid food. She might even  have a tooth or two that's ready to pop out soon!

In the garden...

This is our first year of gardening. We're trying out all kinds of things in our vegetable garden. I'm very excited about the dozen or so watermelons. We've got big plans for next year...
